Fletcher is a premier Cowboy Singer and Songwriter of pure Cowboy music. His authentic Texas Cowboy approach to music has warmed the hearts of his fans throughout the West.

He has been featured at Cowboy events such as The Western Heritage Classic, The Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering, The Great Pikes Peak Cowboy Poetry Gathering (there awarded the prestigious Dick Spencer Memorial Award), The New Mexico Cowboy Poetry Gathering, The National Cowboy Symposium, The Texas Cowboy Poetry Gathering, The Cowboy Hall Of Fame, and The Academy Of Western Artists' Awards Ceremony.

​Fletcher has been nominated for Entertainer Of The Year, Male Vocalist Of The Year, Song Of The Year as well as Album Of The Year.
He co-authored, along with Red Steagall, the great song "Sleepin' In My Leggin's Tonight" which was on Red's Wrangler Award winning project Dear Momma, I'm A Cowboy. He also wrote When The Roses Bloom Next Spring, a cut on Red's project Love Of The West.

Fletcher was a principal actor/singer along in the short film/musical video Ol Cowboys And Dreamers produced by Peter Lippman. The 42 minute video is described as "A new vision of the West comes alive in this musical journey, as told by America's favorite cowboy singers. Follow the adventures of two romantic travelers, trying to escape their past -- and instead finding their future. "Ol' Cowboys & Dreamers combines original music with classic storytelling to paint this portrait of the West. You'll be entertained by country stars Charlie Daniels and Becky Hobbs, plus the great Cowboy Singer/Songwriters Will Dudley, Fletcher Jowers, and Ian Tyson. Featuring exclusive, never-before-seen music videos and five original songs."


Fletcher has released six projects, Songs Of A Texas Cowboy, Sing Me A Cowboy Song, Still Riding High, Church at the Wagon. Trails To Heaven and At The Cross. For several years now he has devoted his music to “Cowboy Gospel” or just Gospel. His CD Church At The Wagon contains ten songs, nine of which were written by Fletcher. 

The title cut Church At The Wagon reached #15 in the European Country Music Charts. He has performed at many of the Cowboy Church as well as others.
